Message Thanks for replying. I used the Z1 kit that I got through Specialty Z. Obviously I have new style connectors soldered in as well. Are you talking about the Fuel Rail to lower Plenum insulator seals? I did not use new ones, and it definitely could be a possibility that those did not seat correctly. I cleaned the insulators and got all the gunk out of where they sit and tried to make sure the fuel rail got seated properly, but you never know. The thing that makes me think it's not that is the fact that the car did run better for a while on the third of the five or six times that I've had it running, at least well enough that I didn't have to rev it to keep it running.

I would like to rule out it being anything else and be certain before I pull the plenum off again to replace the fuel rail insulators. I think I may have screwed something up when I sprayed WD-40 into the air regulator and IAA or something. Or else the problem is whatever is blowing out copious amounts of air during the boost leak tests. I heard PCV's wouldn't be affected by that test because of the one-way check valve. Can anyone verify this? That would be at least one system to rule out.

Thanks
